The Trident manual lawn aerator has side eject coring tines that remove plugs up to 126mm long and 12.7 (or 1/2") in diameter, increasing air and water flow to the roots of the turf and soil reducing compaction in the process.
If you have a patch of lawn that gets a lot of traffic, doesn't absorb water, is in poor health or recovering then aerating and watering will be highly benficial.
